City of Sioux Falls departments to host free spooky events [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Several City of Sioux Falls departments will host free events for residents looking for seasonal activities.

This year, the Sioux Falls Police Department and Siouxland Libraries are hosting first-ever events for residents.

Public Service Trunk or Treat

The inaugural Sioux Falls Public Service Trunk or Treat will take place Thursday, October 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot south of Sioux Falls Stadium.

This community event, hosted by Sioux Falls Police, Sioux Falls Fire Rescue, and other public service agencies, invites families to enjoy an evening of fun, including candy, public service vehicles, and more. Parking will be available at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

“We value every opportunity to connect with our community and build relationships,” said Officer Brady Lieuwen. “Engaging with our neighbors helps strengthen those bonds, and we’re excited to see everyone tomorrow.” Costumes are encouraged, and all are welcome.
