City of Red Wing experiences the impacts of high water levels on the Mississippi River | News [Video]

RED WING, Minn. – We have seen a lot of rain over the last few weeks and because of that, the city of Red Wing is under a flood warning until July 7. 

According to the Red Wing assistant fire chief and emergency management director, the Mississippi River in Red Wing was at 16.2 feet as of July 1. For reference 12-13 feet is considered to be minor flood levels with 16 feet being in the major flood level category.
