City of Gadsden planning for the ultimate golfing experience [Video]

GADSDEN, Ala. (WBRC) – The city of Gadsden is panning a nighttime golfing experience as it lights nine holes at the Twin Bridges Golf Course.

Gadsden Mayor Craig Ford says they’ve already received calls for corporate events for this new nighttime golf experience.

Part of the Gadsden Grow Plan, Mayor Ford says the community wanted an outdoor activity and the idea of nighttime golf was presented. After a feasibility study, the mayor says this idea has become a reality.

With Twin Bridges and the Robert Trent Jones golf courses close together, the mayor says creating a nighttime golf experience at the city owned Twin Bridges course will keep people in Gadsden, and bring in money.
