The 2025 Food Lion Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Basketball Tournament returns to Baltimore for a fifth year in February, bringing significant economic benefits and community engagement.CIAA and city officials, as well as partners unveiled plans Thursday for this year’s tournament. The women’s and men’s tournaments will bring 24 teams to Baltimore to play 22 games. The tournament runs from Feb. 25 to March 1.CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams-Parker said she’s glad to have the tournament return to Charm City.”It’s a team effort. You don’t win games without great teams. We’ve been fortunate, Baltimore has been a great team — Visit Baltimore, all the restaurants, the volunteers — this tournament is about community and CIAA.
