Christmas on 4th Street returns [Video]

A Lebanon County couple welcomed guests for their annual community event, now ten years in the making.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. — Every year, kids eagerly wait to see Santa Claus and tell him which presents to leave under their Christmas trees.

For some kids in Lebanon County, however, it was Santa who couldn’t wait to see them- an early gift, courtesy of Deb and Dean Willeman’s annual Christmas on 4th Street.

“They go home with a gift, they go home with some cotton candy [and] we have some other things for them,” Dean said. “There’s some hot chocolate back there. It gives them the time to get out on a Sunday night and have community time with everybody in the area.” Dean said.

What began as a simple act of hanging holiday lights has blossomed into the event adored by dozens.
