BETHLEHEM, Pa. – An annual holiday tradition in the Lehigh Valley saw a record number of holiday shoppers in 2024, breaking attendance records.
ArtsQuest’s 32nd annual Christkindlmarkt saw a total of 128,384 holiday shoppers during the six week long holiday market, which was held from Nov. 15 to Dec. 22, according to a press release.
Shoppers had an extra week this year to gift shop, according to ArtsQuest, where crowds were able to purchase gifts from nearly 180 vendors, crafters and artisans representing 12 states and one country, Scotland.
Free Fridays, which were hosted from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., saw a total of 17,501 visitors, according to the press release.
