CHIP of Roanoke Valley provides students with all needs at annual Back to School celebration [Video]

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– The Child Health Investment Partnership (CHIP) of the Roanoke Valley hosted its third annual Back to School Celebration on Tuesday, August 6, providing local students with a slough of options preparing them to go back to school.

During the event, organizers offered free school supplies, wellness checkups, haircuts, stress relief resources, and various community resources to families. School supplies were distributed in 500 backpacks. The event aims to support children and families as they prepare for the upcoming school year, offering essential resources and services at no cost.
