China, ASEAN encouraged by Bandung Spirit for regional stability [Video]

June 28 marks the 70th anniversary of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, also reflected in the 1955 Bandung Conference, which remains crucial for maintaining regional peace and stability. In an interview with CGTN’s Wang Guan, Humprey Arnaldo Russel, head of ASEAN–China Research Center at University of Indonesia, emphasizes the importance of the Bandung Spirit in shaping China-ASEAN relations, highlighting mutual respect and equality. He mentions China’s proposal for a China-ASEAN community with a shared future, urging ASEAN to resolve issues internally without external interference.
