Childrens Community School in Waterbury has back-to-school picnic [Video]

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — The Children’s Community School in Waterbury held a back-to-school picnic on Friday to bring the community together.

Attendees were able to spend time outside with their neighbors, play games, enjoy food and share the love of learning.

“Children’s Community School works and is successful because it’s about building relationships, so our families, teachers and students work together,” Katherin Sniffin, principal of the school, said.

The food was donated by Frankie’s on Reidville Drive.
