CHERRY HILL, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — It’s out with the old chills and in with the new thrills as the Cherry Hill Public Library hosts a Halloween costume swap this week.
With the scariest night of the year fast approaching, the library has created a way for people to donate their old costumes for Halloween lovers of all ages to claim, from babies to adults.
Hope Holroyd, public relations and marketing coordinator for the library, said the swap is a sustainable way for everyone to enjoy Halloween.
“We had the community donate costumes ahead of time from mid-September to early October,” she said. “We have the whole room set up, from different sizes, toddlers, regular children, and even adult costumes available.”
And as Holroyd explained, a wide variety of costumes is available.
“We have an inflatable dinosaur, we have a Crayola crayon, some princess dresses, a Thomas the Tank Engine costume, and Mario and Luigi.”
