Chelsea Wolfe’s Unbound EP and Acoustic “Place in the Sun” [Video]

Chelsea Wolfe has announced the Unbound EP, a collection of acoustic renditions of songs from her latest full-length album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She. A new version of “Place in the Sun” can be heard now.

The EP arrives November 15th and features alternate takes on “Whispers in the Echo Chamber,” “Dusk,” “The Liminal,” and “Place in the Sun,” as well as a cover of “Cellar Door” by rising metal act Spiritbox (with whom Wolfe recently performed onstage). Per Wolfe’s press release, Unbound “completes the She Reaches Out triptych” following the prior release of the Undone remix EP.

As heard on this version of “Place in the Sun,” Wolfe has stripped down the highlight tracks from her latest LP to their bare core, leaving just her voice and accompaniment of an acoustic guitar or piano.
