ChatGPT is the most widely used generative AI tool in the workplace, an SAS study of GenAI strategy and data analytics decision-makers in Ireland and the UK has found.
Around 29% of those who use generative AI in their professional lives said ChatGPT is the tool they use most often in the workplace while DALL-E2 and Jasper are only used by 4%.
ChatGPT was also the most used tool in the UK, with 10% of respondents saying they use it in the workplace. However, Google AI was not far behind, with 8% of respondents selecting it as their preferred tool.
Using proprietary large language models (LLM) was found to be the most common approach to LLMs in Ireland, with 27% of organisations having adopted closed-source LLMs.
