As the 2023-2024 academic year wrapped up this past Friday, we wanted to celebrate faculty members from the Champlain Valley School District who are entering retirement after decades of serving the area’s children.Robin FawcettRobin Fawcett has been the Theatre Arts teacher at CVU High School for the past 29 years. Fawcett also taught Acting, Page-to-Stage, and Public Speaking, and he served as the theater program’s director for many years.Donna PowersDonna Powers has taught at CVSD for 37 years. Powers began at Williston Central School and transferred to Allen Brook School when it opened in January 1998. Powers has taught first and second grade and is proud to have been a part of the Calliope and Horizon Teams.
