Chamber plans outdoor dinner for 200 following move to Elm Street [Video]

WESTFIELD – Amanda Waterfield, executive director of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce, appeared before the License Commission on Aug. 12 for a permit to serve all alcohol at an outdoor community event the Chamber is planning for Sept. 17.

Waterfield said four restaurants – Shortstop Bar and Grill, Tavern Restaurant, Tribeca Gastro Bar and Grille, and Tucker’s Restaurant in Southwick and the E. Silver Charcuterie will be preparing dinner and charcuterie. The Short Stop also applied for a wine and malt license from the License Commission for that day.

While planning is still underway, the event will be held on the Elm St. Plaza. Waterfield said it will be a ticketed event for which the Chamber will sell 200 tickets in advance until they sell out.
