CEO of St. Louis Ronald McDonald House has died [Video]

In a statement, the nonprofit said Dan Harbaugh’s “vision, dedication, and compassion have touched the lives of countless individuals.”

ST. LOUIS — The CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis has died at the age of 64.

The nonprofit announced on Monday that Dan Harbaugh died after a three-time battle with cancer.

In its statement, it said, “Dan served as a guiding light for Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis for over 30 years, leaving an incredible mark on our mission and community.”

“Under Dan’s leadership, Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis has grown from one location to opening three additional Ronald McDonald Houses,” the statement said. “Today, the charity provides its impactful mission through two locations that support 92 families each night.
