A pub in northwest NSW that had stood for a century has been reduced to rubble by fire.
Emergency services were called to The Royal Hotel Gurley at Gurley on the Newell Hwy, south of Moree, about 8.25pm on Thursday.
The small town’s only pub was engulfed in flames, with the fire finally extinguished about 10.30pm.

While no injuries were reported, the building could not be saved.
Police said it was too early to determine the cause of the fire, and a crime scene has been established.
Moree Plains Shire Mayor Susannah Pearse expressed her sorrow on Facebook.
“My thoughts are with Gurley pub owners and the Gurley community who lost their most beloved pub last night in a devastating fire,” she wrote.
