Center for Public Secrets hosts community engagement event to encourage voting | News [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — If you’re having trouble finding the information you need to make an informed decision in the upcoming elections, Center for Public Secrets is holding an evening of civic engagement and community empowerment  on August 10 at 573 South Peoria Avenue beginning at 6:30 p.m.

16 local candidates will be present to participate in an open mic session where attendees will have the chance to hear directly from them and ask questions.

Center for Public Secrets will also present the 918 Vote Exhibit, a one-stop shop for all the critical information needed to participate in the next election.

The exhibit includes candidate biographies, district and polling information, voter registration for future elections, mail-in ballot notary, and voting statistics.

There will be opportunities for attendees to volunteer for phone banking and canvassing with the Terrence Crutcher Foundation and to participate in an interactive art project.

Doors opened at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.
