Celebrating Families to host annual back-to-school sock & underwear giveaway on Saturday [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Celebrating Families back-to-school fair will help families get their children ready for the school year with a giveaway of new socks and underwear this week.

The event is set for Aug. 17 at Faith Lutheran Church, which is located at 601 N. Cliff Ave. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a free lunch starting at 10 a.m.

Area community service programs will also be there to talk about their programs and what services they provide.

Children receiving the socks and underwear must be present with a parent or guardian.
