Cecilia man accused of possessing, distributing meth, cocaine, heroin [Video]

ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) — A 39-year-old Cecilia man is facing charges in connection with the possession and distribution of various narcotics, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office announced.

According to a press release, Clarence Smith was arrested after a search warrant was executed at a home in the 1000 block of Domingue Street in Cecilia. He faces numerous possession/distribution-related charges as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.

The sheriff’s office said his arrest is the result of a joint investigation with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit concerning illegal narcotics activity in the Cecilia and Lafayette areas.
