Officials say that 47 cats impacted by the fires in Southern California arrived in Placer County thanks to animal services partnering up with the non-profit FieldHaven Feline Center. 18 of the cats are expected to be up for adoption at the shelter as soon as Saturday.
PLACER COUNTY, Calif. – 47 cats from Southern California arrived in Placer County, ready to find their forever homes.
Officials with the Placer County Animal Service say that they partnered up with the non-profit FieldHaven Feline Center to retrieve 47 cats from the Stray Cat Alliance that were impacted by the wildfires burning in Los Angeles County.
