Capital Humane Society to host Summer of Love Adoption Promotion [Video]

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Capital Humane Society is hosting their Summer of Love Adoption Promotion starting Tuesday. The event will last until Sunday and will be offering special adoption fees on all available animals.

Adoption fees for all animals available for adoption will be reduced 50% at the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center. This includes dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and small creatures such as guinea pigs or rabbits.

License and rabies fees may apply for cat and dog adoptions.

The Capital Humane Society currently has 400 in their care right now. Monday morning, only 10 dog kennels were open between both Capital Humane Society locations. There are currently 19 pets ready for adoption that are unable to transfer to their adoption center due to lack of space.
