MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Tonight, Memphis joined communities across the globe to honor those who have lost their lives in roadway crashes.
The World Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil was held at Overton Park.
Organizers there say this event was an opportunity to demand actions toward improving roadway safety, including redesigning dangerous roads and reducing speed limits.
