WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Cameron Art Museum (CAM) announced it is hosting Rising Stars, a student art exhibition in collaboration with area schools.
According to a press release from CAM, their Education Team has worked with high schools in eight Southeastern N.C. counties to showcase local young artists.
“We are excited to celebrate the outstanding creative work of students in eastern North Carolina through this new exhibition. CAM supports and augments the work being done in the school systems in our 8-county radius in eastern North Carolina, and we are thrilled that we have this opportunity to showcase the future of art in our region through Rising Stars,” says CAM Executive Director, Heather Wilson.
Rising Stars opens on Saturday, Feb.1 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will run for one month.
