Call of Duty has diverted from the more-grounded look of the older titles, and the recent games include shop bundles with an assortment of colorful and sometimes outlandish operator skins. Not everyone is a fan of these wacky bundles, but in an interview with Dexerto, one Treyarch developer has explained why these operator bundles aren’t going away anytime soon.

Currently, Call of Duty lets players jump into matches of Warzone as Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and various WWE superstars, as well as popular characters from Dune and The Boys. Black Ops 6 recently added store bundles that turn operators into a really buff shark, a stoned amphibian, and more.
