Buzz: Linkin Park Posts Countdown Video, Fueling Speculation of Reunion (And Maybe a New Vocalist?)

On Saturday morning, Aug. 24, the social media accounts for Linkin Park shared a post with a mysterious countdown clock, counting down to some sort of announcement scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Linkin Park band members Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Brad Delson have each since shared the countdown on their respective social media accounts, with drummer Rob Bourdon — who does not use social media, apparently — the lone holdout.

Given that there have been rumors of a potential Linkin Park reunion buzzing about for a few months now, this mysterious countdown has sent the internet into overdrive as fans try to make sense of whatever is imminent.
