Butte Film Festival returns for its second year | Butte County [Video]

The Butte Film Festival is returning for its second year, celebrating the creative talents of student filmmakers from Northern California.

Hosted by the newly formed Butte Film Institute (BFI), this year’s festival aims to become Northern California’s largest student film festival, showcasing films from student-level filmmakers all across the North State and surrounding areas. This promises to be an exciting event filled with a diverse range of films, networking opportunities, and educational programming.

The Butte Film Festival will take place from Dec. 6–8 at the historic Oroville State Theatre.

Submission Guidelines:

BUFF is now open for submissions from student filmmakers across Northern California. We accept all genres, including but not limited to:

– Fiction (action, horror, comedy, rom-com)

– Documentary

– Animation

– Music Video

– Experimental
