OROVILLE, Calif. — Two young boys remained in critical but stable condition Thursday after a shooting at their elementary school in the Butte County town of Palermo.
The 56-year-old suspect, Glenn Litton, died by suicide after the shooting.
As the investigation continues, the community gathered to support the families with hope, prayers, and positivity.
“We have had a lot of difficult seasons and that is how we get through them is by coming together as a community,” said one resident.
The community displayed a powerful show of support and hope following the tragedy.
