BullStreet District unveils 3,000-square-foot lawn as Columbia community hub [Video]

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Developers of the BullStreet District in downtown Columbia are announcing a new attraction. The district’s new lawn space is what developers call Columbia’s new community hub. Visitors will be able to enjoy various dining experiences and recreational activities.

“Our hope for Bull Street is that when you come here, you park your car, and you may come for one reason but you find a lot of reasons to stay and enjoy and be engaged,” Chandler Cox, project manager for the BullStreet District, said. 

This is part of their 20-year project to develop a massive property in downtown Columbia. The new lawn space, which will span over 3,000 square feet, will be in the heart of the district.

“The lawn is really intended to be sort of the great public gathering place—think a great plaza with shops and restaurants and retail opening …
