ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — Before stepping into a leadership role in education, most people start with an internship. The Ector County Independent School District (ECISD) has launched a Principal Intern Program that’s quickly making waves and earning the district serious bragging rights for the school year.
Ector County ISD is one of 12 Texas school districts recognized for their outstanding programs with the release of Texas School Business magazine’s 18th Annual Bragging Rights 2024-25 special issue.
Bragging Rights, which calls for nominations and is published every December, recognizes school districts that have implemented programs that are bettering the lives of Texas’ students, schools and communities.
