Buffalo Bills game tomorrow includes unique cleats [Video]

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — You might see some unique footwear on the field during Weeks 13 and 14 in the NFL.

That’s because the league is bringing back its annual My Cause My Cleats program, which allows players to express support to the causes that matter most to them.

“Our players are passionate supporters of many charitable causes and serve as changemakers in their communities,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a recent statement.

“We are excited to build upon last year’s success and work with our players to expand this unique platform that enables them to raise awareness for causes they support,” Goodell said. 

The cleats the players wear over two weeks don’t go back into a locker or closet. They’re eventually auctioned off by the league, and 100 percent of the money raised goes to each player’s chosen …
