After learning of an impending shipment, federal and local authorities descended on an East Macon home, finding illegal weapons and drugs, sheriff’s office says.
MACON, Ga. — While you may be waiting on your holiday packages, a package destined for a Macon home ended with four people in jail on Thursday.
It comes after a multi-agency investigation uncovered illegal drug possession and the possession of an illegal tool that can turn a pistol into a machine gun, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
They say investigators learned that a Glock Sear — an illegal device that can turn a normal gun into a machine gun — was set to be delivered to a home in the 3700 block of Greenway Place.
