Bryan adds amendment to Bombers contract for future events [Video]

After Tuesday’s Bryan City Council meeting, Edible Field could host new projects and events during the months when the Brazos Valley Bombers baseball team is not on the field.

Bryan city staff voted to rescind the lease termination with the Bombers on July 18, allowing the Bombers to continue their season as planned. The council also proposed an amendment to the original contract that would allow the city to solicit proposals for the use, operation and management of the ballfield. With the addition of Requests for Proposals, or RFP, the city could use the fields for future projects or events.
