Brunswick Co. to hold one-on-one information session for former Southport ETJ residents [Video]

BOLIVIA, N.C. (WECT) – Brunswick County planning staff will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, to address questions from people who lived in an area that was once the Southport Exterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).

Questions addressed will include recommended zoning, density levels and uses allowed in different zoning designations and maps to show the proposed zoning in the area.

It’s a drop-in event, so people can come by anytime to the hallway outside the commissioners chambers at the David R. Sandifer Administration Building at 30 Government Center Drive NE, Bolivia.

The ETJ was relinquished effective July 1, 2024, and you can learn more on the Brunswick County website.
