GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The Democratic Party of Brown County launched a new initiative they call “relational organizing” on Sunday with the help of an app called “Reach”.
Organizers unveiled the new program at a Packers watch party on Sunday afternoon. More than 7,000 users have signed up so far.
The initiative has helped reach more than 38,000 voters in Milwaukee County alone, with the majority of those voters not being reached through traditional door-knocking or phone calls. Thousands of volunteers are also been utilizing the program since it started last fall.
From bingo nights to bowling, trivia, networking, and service-related events, the party says the program will help bring like-minded individuals together.
