Brittany Mahomes isn’t letting up, despite the recent backlash over her social media activity.
The controversy began after Mahomes, 28, liked an Instagram post from US presidential candidate Donald Trump shared on Tuesday, August 13. After receiving much pushback, Mahomes later took to her Instagram Story on Friday, August 23, to address haters with “deep-rooted issues.”
Mahomes appeared to have unliked Trump’s post — which contained phrases like “seal the border and stop the migrant invasion,” “keep men out of women’s sports,” and “secure our elections” — and it looks like she doesn’t even follow him on social media. But she still seemingly posits that the backlash was unwarranted.
