Bride’s Mother Buys Her Wedding Dress That She Has Never Seen [Video]

A bride’s mother purchased a wedding dress for her without consulting her beforehand. 

It’s common for a bride to bring her mother with her when she goes wedding dress shopping. But that’s not what happened for one bride, who explained in a post on Reddit’s “Wedding” forum that her mother went behind her back and bought her a dress that she has never tried on or even seen before.

“Got a text this morning from my mum saying she’d found ‘the perfect dress’ for me on eBay and won the bid,” she wrote. “It’s ex-sample so apparently a bargain, but it was still very expensive. Far more than I would’ve spent myself.”

The poster added that she hasn’t ever visited a bridal shop or had a single conversation with her mother about wedding dresses.
