BRIAN KERR said that he does not need to speak to St Pat’s boss Stephen Kenny to cheer him on.
The two former Ireland managers have a frosty relationship in recent years having previously been close.
And Kenny said when appointed manager of St Patrick’s Athletic last year – where Kerr is a regular as a fan and is held in high regard – that they were unlikely to be meeting for coffees.
But Kerr said that while they have not spoken, it is no big issue for him once Kenny is a success at Richmond Park.
