THE INCIDENTS WERE REPORTED AT OFF CAMPUS HOUSING NEAR THE MEDFORD SOMERVILLE LINE. TUFTS SENDING A NOTICE OUT TO STUDENTS AND STAFF OVER THE WEEKEND. Police in Somerville are investigating a series of break-ins near Tufts University. A series of incidents were reported at off-campus housing near the Medford-Somerville line and the university sent a notice to students and staff over the weekend. The victims reported finding doors unlocked after returning to their homes.Tufts reminded students to take all proper safety measures and call 9-1-1 if they suspect a break-in.
