Boston Dynamics unveils its fur-covered dancing robot dog; Watch the viral video

A US-based robotics company has caused quite a stir on the internet with a video featuring their robot dog. The footage showcases Sparkles, the robot dog developed by Boston Dynamics, engaging in a dance-off with another machine called Spot, displaying some impressive dance moves.

Although the video was released on International Dance Day, it failed to resonate with social media users, who referred to the robot as “fuel for nightmares”.

Boston Dynamics is renowned for its mobile robots, including the humanoid Atlas. In 2022, the company was acquired by Hyundai.

The video of the robotic dog was shared on Boston Dynamics’ YouTube channel with the caption, “Spot is meeting another peculiar dog and forging a friendship through the art of dance.
