Titus Welliver is closing the book on the “most rewarding and beautiful experience” of his career.

The actor reflected on his years playing detective Harry Bosch in a heartfelt farewell message posted on social media following the news that Bosch: Legacy is coming to an end. The show will conclude with the upcoming third season on Prime Video and Freevee, which launches in March 2025.

For the past decade, Welliver has brought LAPD detective turned PI Harry Bosch to life on screen. He starred in seven seasons of Bosch on Prime Video starting in 2014 and has continued to portray the character in the spinoff series Bosch: Legacy, which premiered in 2022.

For Welliver, playing the prickly but principled detective was the role of a lifetime.
