ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A principal of an Atlanta high school resigned over “personal reasons,” according to Atlanta Public Schools.
William Wade resigned from Booker T. Washington High School after sending a letter to the school community about his decision.
A spokesperson for Atlanta Public Schools said Tiauna Crooms, who was the director of secondary curriculum and instruction for the school district, was named interim principal. She was a principal of Herman J. Russell West End Academy, formerly Brown Middle School.
The school district did not say why Wade resigned.
