Boil water notice issued for N.E.W. Water Supply in San Augustine County [Video]

SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KETK) – The N.E.W. Water Supply Corporation in San Augustine County issued a boil water notice for some of their customers on Sunday because of a water line break.

According to a press release, customers in the areas of Geneva, Sexton, Hawthorne, County Road 202, County Road 205 and Kellyville need to bring any water for cleaning or consumption to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes before use.

Bottled water can be used in lieu of boiling. The water supply said they will notify the public when the notice is lifted.
