Boil water advisory issued in Town of Tryon [Video]

TRYON, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Town of Tryon issued a boil water advisory on Wednesday in preparation for water line maintenance.

Customers on Chestnut Street and Pacolet Street will experience low pressure or outages while the water maintenance goes on.

They are advised to boil water as there is the potential for an introduction of bacteria into the water system during maintenance.

Residents of Chestnut and Pacolet Streets are the only ones expected to be affected.
