Body of missing woman found in Moorhead park [Video]

Officers in Moorhead were called to a public park Saturday night after a body was found in the tall grass.

MOORHEAD, Minn. — Police are investigating after the body of a missing woman was found in a park on Saturday evening.

According to a press release, just after 8 p.m. officers were called to the 3000 block of Rivershore Drive after a bystander reported finding a body in the tall, grassy area of a public park.

Officials identified the woman as Angela Hart. Police said Hart had previously been reported missing.

The body has been there for some time, police said and were no initial reports of trauma.

Police said the body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

This investigation is ongoing, according to police.

No further information has been made available by officials.
