Black Wall Street Reno hosts Wrestling with a Purpose event at Boys and Girls Club [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The community is cordially invited to attend a special event hosted by Black Wall Street Reno, featuring 3-time world champion Lee Kemp, in partnership with Kevin Dunn, former D1 wrestler and USA wrestling coach, and the Boys and Girls Club.

Dunn and James Griffin, Black Wall Street Reno youth outreach organizer, stopped by Morning Break to invite the whole community to the Pennington Boys & Girls Club Center, Thursday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m., as they introduce students to the sport of wrestling, showcase the inspiring documentary Wrestled Away and engage in a Q&A session with Lee Kemp.

This event aims to inspire youth through wrestling’s core values—discipline, self-respect and empathy—and offer new opportunities for growth and empowerment.
