Birmingham restaurant feeding families for free this Thanksgiving [Video]

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – With Thanksgiving fast approaching, two Birmingham-based organizations are working to spread holiday cheer to families who may need a little extra help this year.

Slutty Vegan Birmingham and Blck Enterprise, LLC, have joined forces to launch “20 Families, 20 Thanksgivings,” an initiative to provide complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need across the Birmingham area.

This community-driven effort aims to make the holiday season brighter by ensuring that families have a warm meal and a reason to feel connected and supported.

Why the Community Needs Support

Around the holidays, food pantries and charitable organizations see a sharp increase in demand as more families struggle to afford basic necessities and holiday meals.
