Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was voted the NFL‘s most overrated quarterback in a poll ESPN recently conducted of 103 NFL players. Allen was also voted as the best trash-talking quarterback in the league.
After Allen, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa tied as the second-most overrated quarterback. Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield was voted as the second-best trash talker, followed by New York Jets’ Aaron Rodgers in third.
Allen reacted to the results of the poll on social media, posting, “So you’re telling me, I was voted as the #1 … best trash talker??? Let’s goooooo!!!”
Turnovers are one of the primary reasons why Allen is looked at as overrated by many. During the 2023 season, Allen threw a career-high 18 interceptions and finished second in the NFL in most interceptions thrown. He threw an interception in 14 of the Bills’ 17 games, and fumbled the ball seven times.
