Bill Clinton hospitalized for observation after fever [Video]

WASHINGTON, D.C. (1010 WINS) — Former President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital on Monday after developing a fever, according a spokesperson.

Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center in the afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever, according to Angel Urena, Deputy Chief of Staff for the former president.

“He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving,” Urena said in a statement on X.

No further details on his condition were immediately available. Clinton, 78, has previously faced health challenges, including a hospitalization in 2021 for a urological infection.
