OWASSO, Okla. — After the resignation of Antonio Graham, Bill Blankenship is set to leave retirement and return to his position as Owasso Public Schools’ head football coach and Director of Football Operations.
“I am thrilled to welcome back Bill Blankenship, who has spent a lifetime building character and fostering a culture of excellence in his programs,” said Owasso Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Margaret Coates. “He is a man of great integrity, as well as an incredible mentor and role model for our student-athletes. His record both on and off the field is second to none, and I know our staff and community will be excited to have Coach Blankenship back on the sidelines.”
During his career at Owasso, Blankenship led the Owasso football team to 69 wins and a pair of state titles in seven season from 2017-2023. He’s a member of the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame …
