EGGtoberfest Celebrates this Milestone Year with theWorld’s Largest Serving of Chicken Wings and a Fundraiser for Operation BBQ Relief

ATLANTA, Oct. 9, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — History was made at the largest EGGtoberfest as Big Green Egg celebrated its 50th Anniversary and set a new world record. The record, the world’s “largest serving of chicken wings”, commemorates the iconic bite that founder Ed Fisher sampled outside the original Big Green Egg store in 1974. The record was set at 655.8 lbs. of Springer Mountain Farms chicken wings. Event attendees enjoyed the wings, and more than half were donated to Lettum’ Eat, a local meal ministry program to feed families in need.
